It’s Asta again – I moved in with someone over the weekend and am struggling not to gush about it just a little bit ( – see, I couldn’t help opening with the news?). We found a nice two bed flat, so I’m hyping up to furnish a little study out of the extra bedroom.
Which means that I will have a nice, cosy little space for reading *your* work! That’s right, our submissions opened yesterday (go on, have a look)! We are currently accepting subs for the first edition of our literary magazine. Whether you’re new to submissions or have a wealth of publications behind you, we want to hear from you; send us your work that has to do with friendships and/or found family.
I’m submitting too – to a few different publications. I have two pieces I have been holding onto for a while now. They’re both related to mental illness, and I’ve been so scared to let them go. But I think it’s time. Finally getting rid of stuff I’ve been holding on to.
Do you have pieces like that? You’ve meant to submit or query them but there you are months later, unable to let the words go just yet? Let us know in the comments, or give us a shout on twitter or insta.
