We’re two Norwich gals (neither of us is actually from here) very much in need of a creative outlet. We love supporting others, so our first step was supporting each other and starting this.
This being our very own feminist, intersectional, and Oxford comma-loving literary press! We wanted to create a place where marginalised voices could be not only heard, but listened to and appreciated. Our mission is to share art that’s diverse as it’s the type of art that we enjoy the most.
Our current team is just the two of us, Ava and Xav. We love reading, writing, languages, and moomins. We buy too many books and notebooks. The key to our heart is coffee and chocolate milk respectively.
Ava is halfway through a Master’s in Creative Writing, and has other random qualifications (BSc, PGDip). She has taught robotics to year 9s in England, done well-being workshops in schools in Finland, and studied skeletons in Romania. She knows too many languages to be able to speak any fluently. 🐨
Favourite book so far this year is The Binding by Bridget Collins.
Xav (pronounced zav) is a 23 year old English and Film Graduate from the University of East Anglia in Norwich. English/French hybrid who taught herself to read when she was barely 3 and basically hasn’t stopped since. She’s been writing for nearly that long too. 👽
Favourite book so far this year is The Truth About Keeping Secrets by Savannah Brown.
